The Story Behind Island Realty Amelia
Island Realty Amelia, began as the culmination of Craig Bennett's real estate career. After more than a decade selling real estate on Amelia he felt that he no longer needed to work under a broker. He got his brokers license and started this company to venture out on his own and better serve his customers. However, the real estate market turned and making a living selling real estate became much tougher. Island Realty Amelia branched out into rental management because of the tougher market, and that aspect of the business has grown such that Craig had to bring on someone to manage the rentals. His wife Mary was more than happy to step in and take on the challenge, making her the second member of IRA. Not long after Mary came on board, Craig decided he needed yet another person to help him perfect his website. Craig's son Cody is currently studying to be an air traffic controller and working full time to pay for school. He quit his former employer and came to work at IRA to assist in the design, development and implementation of the new website. That rounds out the staff here at IRA currently and hopefully, our customers have noticed quicker response times and a better over all experience at Island Realty Amelia.
